As a little girl  I remember   that uncle Rod would have all the time in the world for me.

Always ready to stop his conversation and listren to my stories !

He always brought the best christmas gifts, from glow worms, Alice in wonderland video to the sound of music i would be hooked on these .Playing them over and over. One christmas he brought me the best book in the world , The night before Christmas. It was completely  magical,  with a delicate tab you would pull in a wheel motion and the picture would completely  change, and all through the book it had little windows, and doors tiny magical pictures to father christmas you could bring down the chimley. This book  i have treasured all these years , and every christmas eve , even now my children (Poppy,&Noah) have reached there teens, we still read it together. And when i hold that book its filled with memories and the love of everything an uncle should be. I will hold it a little tighter now uncle rod. You were always loving slways kind, always ready to listren. . With all my love for him, Hayley xx
